Golf Instructions

Nick Bradley is a unique individual. Simply put: there has never been a more driven man dedicated to improving your golf and the enjoyment of this great game. Nick’s philosophies are so entrenched in the truths of the game his is the only, and the first golf school to offer improvement contracts to amateurs. It embodies his company’s statement: Innovation & Commitment.

Nick Bradley, a native of London, England, trained as a competitive swimmer between the ages of 9 and 21; as a two time Surrey County Champion and 3 time Borough Champion his understanding of the requirements needed to train and dedicate oneself to personal, spiritual and physical improvement were ingrained during his formative years. Aged 16, the game of golf found Nick and applying the same narrow focus he’d done with swimming he turned professional just three years later.

Curiously, unlike the majority of golf professionals, Nick immediately gravitated toward coaching golf rather than playing it. ‘My need to improve rapidly, naturally lead me to study the actions of the great golfers, the great teachers and the great philosophers of the game. I read and I read and when I was given the chance I coached and I coached!’ From 1994 until 1997 Nick understudied and worked for David Leadbetter at Lake Nona, Florida. ‘Looking back at this time in my career, Davids stature and reputation in the game was rightly unparalleled; he was a great influence on me. However, I fully realise that MENTORS serve a purpose and the true nature of a coach is to pass on the building blocks of knowledge for others to use and develop further.’

To date, Nick Bradley has coached winners on every Professional European Tour: 2003 French Open Champion Philip Golding, 1999 Italian Open Champion Samantha Head, 1998 Sao Paulo Open Champion Roger Winchester and 2005 Seniors Tour Champion Denis O’Sullivan and 2003 Danish PGA Champion Jesper Neilson. Aside from professional victories Nick has also coached multiple National Champions including the 2003 Irish Amateur Champion. This list will continue to grow. Nicks influence has indeed been global. He has coached and developed training facilities in Russia, Spain, South Africa and of course the USA. His global influence continued with the publication of his truly groundbreaking book

‘The 7 Laws of the Golf Swing’. His Award Winning and Best Selling book has been hailed as the new ‘Hogans Five Lessons’. Combining Nicks masterly imagination and revolutionary digitised artwork ‘The 7 Laws of the Golf Swing’ ignites the very areas of the brain that retain and understand dynamic movement. As he says in his introduction: ‘I’ve never heard a tour player say their swing felt better after hearing a good sentence!’ For more information and reviews on Nicks book click on ‘THE BOOK’ on the menu page. Golf Digest, the leading publication in world golf published an 8 page special on the book in February 06.

Spirituality is very important to Nick, his business and his coaching philosophies. Having worked with and been mentored by some of the leaders in the field of human potential, Nicks appreciation of ‘Spirituality’ over ‘Psychology’ is his fundamental belief. The objective of 22nd Century Golf Schools. To Nick Bradley, the true definition of golf instruction can be summed up as ‘Accurate Diagnosis followed with Effective Process.’ A golf instructor is only as good as his or her diagnosis; without this the path for improvement is misaligned. So the first objective is to cut through the mish-mash you may have heard and deliver the correct information to you every time. The second objective is to give you our commitment. This is why 22nd Century Golf Schools will be the first golf school to offer amateur golfers improvement contracts. Simply put, if we do not improve you to an agreed standard we will compensate you!

In 2006 at his base in Myrtle Beach Nick founded the 22nd Century Golf School with partners The BareFoot Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. If you can’t find what you are looking for golf wise at BareFoot, you cannot find it anywhere.’ The BareFoot Resort boasts four championship golf courses, each one designed by a legend in either course architecture or as a player. Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Davis Love III and Greg Norman have left their indelible marks on the resort. The Love course has just been voted the finest course in Myrtle Beach with the Dye and Fazio inside the top ten and the Norman inside the top twenty.
