Edgewater Resort is the most upscale of neighborhoods in the most complete Myrtle Beach resort, Barefoot Resort. Edgewater is located in a gated neighborhood overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The Edgewater Neighborhood boasts a beautiful pool, resident’s club, fitness center, and hot tub, all within 200 feet of your front door. Your family will find no other Myrtle Beach vacation on par with this one. Edgewater has an upscale, hotel caliber lobby with mahogany walled elevators and a sitting room just off the hallway on each floor. The balcony, located off the living room, is a tranquil place to enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail and watch the boats as they meander by. Enjoy the restaurants of Barefoot Landing, Alligator Adventure, Ghosts and Legends, The Barefoot Lady Cruise ship, or the Sunday brunch at House of Blues. When its time for the beach, Barefoot Resort offers our three-story, Ocean front cabana. At our Oceanfront Cabana, you’ll find tables, lounge chairs, bathrooms, showers, ice machines, vending machines, and your family can rent beach chairs and umbrellas at the guard stand. You may choose to drive and park on the street/sidestreets or in the public lot to the left of the cabana, or we will gladly take you there (peak Summer season) in our Free Beachfront shuttle that also makes runs to Barefoot Landing. We ask that you please bring your own beach towels for the beach. You may also wish to bring your beach chairs as well.

Your Myrtle Beach vacation in Edgewater provides linens as well as towels (but not beach towels). Edgewater does not provide a daily cleaning service. We ask that you please take your own garbage out to the dumpster and that you please load and run the dishwasher before you leave.

This Summer, make sure to catch our Monday night Fireworks celebration overlooking the lakes at Barefoot Landing. You may also want to reserve a special time for Japanese steak and seafood nearby or simply have an affordable and delicious pizza delivered right to your room from the property.
